Mid to deep ruby. Vigorous dark-cherry nose with hints of black pepper and a hint of oak. Minerally too, with notes of iron. Succulent yet lively fruit palate carried by chewy tannins. Long, gripping and juicy finish and with a medium-bodied palate weight. (WS)
