Monforte d’Alba. Just mid ruby. A little brooding and slow to open up but with hints of Bussia’s typical spicy notes. Lush raspberry fruit that is still a little embryonic with the perfect dose of sandy tannins. Energetic acidity that melts into the sandy tannins and fruit. Very long and compelling but not ready yet. Super-tactile tannins on the finish. (WS)
