Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2016 Barolo Prapò offers good depth and character, even if it’s a bit rustic. Sweet red berry fruit, iron, dried autumn leaves, cedar and tobacco all flesh out in the glass. The 2016 carries itself with a sense of weight, but it is also a bit chunky and lacking in finesse. The Comune di Serralunga d'Alba bottling is somewhat better balanced and more harmonious in my view.
