Opaque inky purple. Archetypal Merlot aromas and flavors of coffee, cocoa and aromatic herbs complement dark spicy plum and black currant. Bright, clean and fresh on entry, then a little hollow in the middle, with very smooth texture. Finishes long and ripe, displaying noteworthy salinity and tarry elements.
