Bright violet. Heady, seductively perfumed dark berry, floral pastille, smoky mineral and olive paste scents. Sweet, palate-staining blackberry and violet pastille flavors are lifted and sharpened by a powerful mineral flourish and a hint of cracked pepper. Very rich but energetic as well, finishing with powerful back-end cut on the strikingly long finish, which features fine-grained tannins and suave floral and exotic spice qualities.
