Tasting Notes and Scores
((from a two-year-old piece Bright ruby-red. Deep, nutty aromas show more smoke and Burgundian underbrush than primary fruit. Creamy-sweet and more voluminous in the mouth than the Cuvee des Coteaux; slightly reduced notes of game and burnt chocolate. Much less VA here, and more structure and depth. Finishes with fine tannins. The same wine from a new demi-muid) Sweeter, brighter aromas of spicy red fruits. More tightly wrapped in the mouth; more peppery and less reduced. Quite oaky on the end, but this component will add dimension to the blend.
