Tasting Notes and Scores
In its third vintage as a stand-alone wine, the 2017 Cote Rotie Neve seems to have fully hit its stride. It's full-bodied, rich and tannic but loaded with concentrated blueberry fruit. It's velvety in texture and incredibly long and intense on the finish.

Dark violet. Intensely perfumed, mineral-accented black and blue fruit and floral pastille scents pick up incense and exotic spice notes with air. In a concentrated yet lively style, offering concentrated, appealingly sweet cherry, blackberry, licorice, spicecake and candied violet flavors braced by a spine of juicy acidity. Shows superb clarity and mineral thrust on a wonderfully long, floral-driven finish shaped by fine-grained, steadily building tannins.
