Tasting Notes and Scores
Ratcheting up the level of concentration is the 2004 Ermitage Le Pavillon. Its deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by sweet aromas of blackberries, cherries, licorice, and minerals. Medium-bodied, with lovely purity and a long finish, it is the least concentrated Pavillon of recent vintages, but is well-made and elegant. It will age well for 15 years.
