The 2022 Rully La Fosse 1er Cru comes from a south-exposed stony site. This has an open-knit bouquet with red cherries and wild strawberries, hints of sloes and figs. A bit of sur-maturité . The palate is medium-bodied with a sapid entry, perhaps the most exotic of Dureuil's reds, and as such, one I might well broach before others.
