Purchased as grapes from a biodynamic grower, the 2019 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Les Fichots is one of the most extravagantly perfumed wines in the range, soaring from the glass with scents of blackberries, sweet spices, orange rind, peonies and soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's lively and precise, its gourmand core of fruit framed by powdery tannins.
