The 2021 Clos de Vougeot Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru possesses mainly red berry fruit, touches of pressed rose petal, incense and peony. The palate is medium-bodied with quite supple tannins, fine acidity, lightly spiced, candied orange peel and blood orange. This will vie with the Chambertin as Rebourseau's best offering in 2021.

Richer and more powerful, as well as more harmonious, the 2021 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes wafts from the glass with notes of dark berries, violets and spicy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with good concentration and a penetrating finish, it shows promise for the cellar.
