First vintage of this cuvée chez Laurent Ponsot. Bright mid cherry hue; strawberry jam and raspberry on the nose and a touch of the woods. Solid structure, not light or frivolous. Fine dusting of pepper and spice, exciting fragrance with a serious note of gingerbread. (MH)
