The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru has a straightforward bouquet with light lemon verbena and apricot blossom, expanding in the glass. The palate is balanced with good depth, though it is missing some tension and feels a bit meagre on the finish for such a prestigious Premier Cru. This could be better.
