92-94 NM

The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Beau Monts 1er Cru, which comes from a one-hectare (ish) parcel, has a nicely detailed, quite mineral-driven bouquet with pressed violets developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, quite fleshy and ripe with a fine bead of acidity. This builds nicely towards quite a structure and persistent finish with a sweet cassis aftertaste. Excellent.
