In 2020, the Clairs grafted their holdings in this top terroir over to finer selections of Pinot Noir, and the resulting 2022 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Raignots is beautiful, bursting with notes of kirsch, sweet spices, raw cocoa and orange zest. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a lively core of fruit framed by rich, powdery tannins, it concludes with a long, saline finish.
