Tasting Notes and Scores

The 2021 Corton Les Maréchaudes Grand Cru has a fragrant nose with redcurrant and raspberry scents, bright though not terribly complex. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. Nicely balanced with a tanginess that is appealing. Plenty of vigour here as this Corton segues into a more peppery finish, probably due to some whole cluster that is well managed. Overall, an enjoyable Corton. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
