The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Borniques 1er Cru contains around 60% whole cluster. This is the one cuvée from Camille Giroud that shows a little sur-maturité on the nose with just a touch of prune. The palate is sweet and slightly candied, with a soft texture and a slightly monotone finish. Hopefully, it has more to give.
