The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Borniques 1er Cru has a generous bouquet of brambly red fruit, sous-bois and hints of tobacco; unassuming, but it gains clarity with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a honeyed texture, rich and opulent, with kirsch and dried fig toward the finish. Fine.
