The 2017 Corton-Renardes Grand Cru is powerful, wild and savory. It will be interesting to see how it develops over time. Today, the 100% whole clusters and the wine’s structure are both overpowering, and yet there appears to be a good bit of potential. Readers will have to be patient, as the 2017 is in no mood to give up much right now, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Then again, it is Corton-Renardes.
