Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2021 Pommard Les Rugiens-Haut 1er Cru (only around two buds per vine survived) includes 50% whole bunches this year. It has a fragrant, floral bouquet with rose petal-infused red cherry, strawberry and fine mineralité . The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins. It's nicely balanced and pretty, with gentle grip on the finish. This should give a decade of drinking pleasure.
