Tasting Notes and Scores

89-92 NM

The 2019 Meursault Genevrières-Dessus 1er Cru will only be bottled in magnum. This has more complexity on the nose compared to the Meursault Genevrières, displaying heightened mineralité, and revealing touches of white peach and nectarine with time. The palate is very well balanced with more noticeable oak, partly because this was aged in a single one-year-old barrel. Hopefully that oak will be integrated after racking.
