Tasting Notes and Scores

92.5 ST

(bottled in December of 2015; 27% in barrel; 4.6 g/l acidity): Very closed nose hints at lemon zest, grapefruit pith and mint. A step up in intensity and grip from the basic Fourchaume, with a lovely touch of lemon drop sweetness. At once chewy and fine-grained, with a long, penetrating finish featuring real thrust. More backward than the regular Fourchaume.
