The 2022 Saint-Aubin Les Champlots 1er Cru has a little more mineralité and stoniness than other cuvées, not powerful, but nicely detailed. The palate is quite rich for a Saint-Aubin, perhaps Chassagne in style, the precocity counterbalanced by acidity with an energetic spicy finish lingering in the mouth. Excellent.
