The 2019 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru was showing some reduction on the nose; nevertheless, you can detect the intense fruit and the 100% whole cluster. The focused palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red berry fruit and fine acidity, and a judicious pinch of white pepper and clove toward the finish. This could turn into a really classy Clos de la Roche.
