Tasting Notes and Scores

92 NM

The 2017 Nuits Saint-Georges La Richemone Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru comes from vines the oldest of which were planted in 1902. It has a generous bouquet, more Vosne-like than Nuits Saint-Georges, with kirsch, touches of blood orange and even Japanese yuzu . The palate is medium-bodied with silky tannin and finely judged acidity. The oak shows a little toward the finish, but that will be absorbed with time. Good potential here.
