The 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is showing brilliantly, offering up a complex bouquet of citrus oil, pear, white flowers, marzipan and pastry cream. It's medium to full-bodied, with a satiny attack that segues into a tensile, structured and concentrated mid-palate that's built around a racy spine of acidity and chalky dry extract. Long and penetratingly mineral, this is a brilliant Saint-Aubin from the Bachelet brothers.
