Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet Tête du Clos 1er Cru has a crisp, mineral-led bouquet that translates the limestone soils with zeal. The palate is fresh and vibrant with more tropical tones coming through than the Les Vergers, richer as a result, though the Les Vergers has the upper hand in terms of precision and tension. Still, this is a fine contribution.

Cool and fresh without great density but fresh and appetising. (JR)
