Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Beaune Aux Cras 1er Cru is 100% whole clusters this year, deftly interwoven into the wine. White pepper and bay leaf notes commingle with red berry and floral scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a ripe black cherry and boysenberry jam entry. There is a touch of sur-maturité here, a little confit-like towards the finish. It will be interesting to see how this will age.
