Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2020 Volnay Village comes from three different parcels. It has mainly red fruit on the nose, the 20% whole bunch from Clos des Chêne lending a discrete pepperiness. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine depth, nicely proportioned with dark berry fruit mixed with orange peel towards the finish. Well-crafted.
