Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2019 Meursault Les Meix Chavaux comes from shallower souls than the Les Grands Charrons with high limestone content. The nose is very subtle at first, gradually unfurling to reveal touches of white chocolate and struck flint. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. Not terribly complex, but there is sufficient salinity on the finish to keep you coming back.
