Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Vougeot Le Clos de Prieuré, a monopole of Vougeraie, has a perfumed, quite floral bouquet that is rather Chambolle-like in style: mulberry, raspberry, a light fish scale scent. The palate is medium-bodied with a lively entry. I like the tannin structure here, plus the keen line of acidity lends bite on the finish. Worth seeking out.
