Cask sample. Mid crimson. Prettily scented with peony and red fruit. Classic Chambolle fragrance. On the palate, that floral and red-fruit character matches the aroma. Moderate intensity and plush texture. So approachable and better integrated than the Mercurey reds. (JH)
