Tasting Notes and Scores

95 NM

The 2022 Rully Meix Cadot Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru comes from a 1.5-hectare parcel in the south of the climat planted by Vincent Dureuil's great-grandfather, Pierre. It has an almost clinical bouquet: brilliant precision, more mineralité than many Puligny Premier Crus and a lovely sea spray note. The palate is well-balanced, with a stunning line of acidity, vivid citrus fruit, orange rind, and a bitter lemon twist on the sustained finish. Outstanding.
