The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos des Argillières 1er Cru has a succinct bouquet with brambly red fruit, dried roses, strawberry pastilles and light forest floor scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, red fruit and a touch of balsamic and white pepper. The finish is finely balanced but maybe missing a little personality like Dureuil's superlative Rullys.
