Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle 1er Cru has the most winsome of Rossignol-Trapet's aromatics amongst their Premier Cru, with perfumed red cherries and wild strawberry fruit, very pure and demonstrating the most ripeness. The medium-bodied palate has fine-boned tannins. It’s a refined, elegant Gevrey with clove and white pepper sprinkled over the finish. Well worth seeking out.

Cask sample. Biodynamic. Light crimson. Aromatic with tangy red fruits – not sure I would put this in Gevrey if I had tasted it blind. Tight, mouth-watering with the finest of tannins. Great freshness in this vintage and incredibly fine tannins. Long, too, so tangy. (JH)
