Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru has a well-defined and typically Latricières nose: a bit backward, even aloof, yet with attractive cola, dark berry scents, and a hint of Clementines. The medium-bodied palate has a citrus-fresh entry and a fine bead of acidity. It is quite linear and correct (like this Grand Cru tends to be), finishing with a touch of curry leaf. Very fine, even if not the most complex example this vintage.

Cask sample. A lovely grand cru which has restraint and elegance to the fore. Not a powerful fruit-driven wine but one with pixelated berry fruit, extremely fine tannin and great lift. Floral, almost delicate (if a grand cru can be delicate). Refined. (AWH)
