Palish red. Strawberry, pepper and a whiff of game on the nose; shows less lift today than the Petite-Chapelle. Then silkier in the mouth but a bit more meaty and less complex. Quite closed today and in need of patience.

Moderate reduction blocks a reading of the nose but the pure middle weight flavors seem fresh, inviting and intense with a racy and linear finish that displays a slight edginess but not dryness.
