Tasting Notes and Scores
This village-level Morey excels expectations with its medium-deep ruby hue and lovely aromas of ripe blackberry fruit coloured with a bit of oak spice and earth. The texture has an impressive tannic grip for this level. The grapes come from a half-hectare near the winery planted in marl and clay soils below the premier cru Clos Sorbè. The grapes are mostly destemmed and carefully fermented before ageing in cask.

The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Très Girard has a pretty nose with light raspberry and white tipped strawberry, delicate and poised. The palate has a pleasing sense of transparency, fine-boned tannins, nicely focused with a supremely elegant, almost Gevrey-like finish. Beautiful.

Scents of red cherries, spices and sweet berries preface the 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Très Girard, a medium to full-bodied, layered and precise wine that's bright and charming.
