Tasting Notes and Scores
Tremblay's 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes wafts from the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries and plums mingled with hints of burning embers, orange zest and potpourri framed by a discreet application of new oak. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a deep and layered core of cool, succulent fruit, it's built around lively acids and sweet, supple tannins.

The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru leans more towards red than black fruit, with touches of loam and subtle tobacco scents. It needs more cohesion, but that will come during its élevage. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, quite saline, fresh and taut, with a sense of tension and energy on the finish. Saline on the aftertaste, this is an extremely promising and quite cerebral Chambolle in the making.
