(12.2% natural alcohol, chaptalized to 12.7%): Good full medium red. Reticent aromas of raspberry and underbrush are lifted by a mineral element. Like the basic village Gevrey, this is not entirely pristine yet, but its minerality and riper acidity give it better definition and extend and lift the finish, which leaves saline and underbrush nuances behind. More power and mineral character here.
