Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin En Créot comes from the Brochon side of the appellation and was completely de-stemmed. There is plenty of red fruit on the nose, figs and fresh dates, perhaps articulating the warmth of the summer more than the terroir at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, quite a dense Gevrey, but like the 2021 last year, it doesn't quite have the precision of a more noble vineyard on the finish. Give it 4-5 years in bottle.
