Deep red-ruby, the darkest of these '01s. Musky aromas of raspberry, spice and pepper, with a whiff of meaty reduction. Dense and ripe, but less harmonious and precise than the Echezeaux today, with the rather aggressive tannins currently cutting off the wine's fruit. Is this dry, or does it simply need aeration?
