Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2018 Meursault À Mon Plaisir Clos du Haut Tesson is very pretty this year, mingling aromas of pear and citrus oil with notes of dried white flowers, warm bread and beeswax in an inviting bouquet. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with a charming and expressive personality. I suspect that even though this will tighten up with a winter in tank on the lees, the 2018 will remain an open, approachable Tesson.
