Tasting Notes and Scores

Sited just below Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru. Mostly 70- to 90-year-old vines, with a parcel planted in 1980. Cask sample. Mid ruby. Plenty of elegant, quite floral perfume. Deep red luxuriant cherry on the palate with lovely ripe texture. Suave and elegant, with very well-integrated tannins. (MH)
