Blessed with a sweet black cherry fruit that is dark, lush and silky even on the initial attack. The texture is supple and inviting; this is a wine that will drink young but has all the components for long ageing as well. The grapes are treated to a cold soak prior to fermentation, and then to a combination of punching down and pumping over followed by ageing in cask (35% new). There are 0.69ha of very old vines in Chambolle Charmes, in the upper part of the lieu-dit, downslope from Feusselottes.
