Reduced to one barrel, the 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères has a straightforward nose that might be shaded by Chartron's excellent Village Cru. The palate is well balanced with green apple and pear, though it just loses a little energy towards the finish. Hopefully, it will pep up by the end of its barrel maturation.
