Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru is a cuvée where Alexandre Abel seeks to make something more elegant and comes from purchased grapes. The understated bouquet takes time to unfurl. It is quite earthy in style - I would like to see a little more fruit develop. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, grainy tannins framing the graphite-tinged black fruit, growing saline towards the finish. I need to see more fluidity in this Corton-Bressandes.
