The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Masures comes from a parcel that lies next to Champ Gain. The delineated nose offers touches of chalk filtering through the citrus fruit - focused and precise rather than powerful. The well-balanced palate has a sapid entry, very well-knit, blackcurrant leaf suffusing the citrus fruit, orange zest and quince towards the finish, conveying a real sense of energy. A superb follow-up to the excellent 2021.
