This year, the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge Clos Saint-Jean 1er Cru is entirely whole bunches. The tightly wound bouquet offers blackberry and raspberry fruit. It’s quite tight at the moment with a sapid, slightly monotone finish. I prefer the Vieilles Vignes.
