Tasting Notes and Scores
Sadly, there is just one new barrel of the 2013 Bonnes Mares Grand Cru. It has a feminine, detailed bouquet where inevitably the new wood is going to be more conspicuous than the les Amoureuses. The palate is candied on the entry with touches of coconut infusing the mixture of red and black fruit. There is an appreciable density here, although I prefer the more suave les Amoureuses this year.
